Dover to Korea

As you do in the military, it's time to say goodbye to one home and make a life in another place! For us, that means moving from Dover, Delaware to South Korea. We packed up the house, loaded up the car, and headed across the country with Ranger in the back seat. A seven day road trip lay ahead of us to get to Los Angeles to leave Ranger with my family while Evan and I live in South Korea for the next year.

Our trip included stops in Charleston, Georgia, Texas, and Arizona, all to see friends, family, and cool places. And of course give Ranger pee breaks!

Walking down the street in Charleston

We stopped in Georgia to see a good friend from college. Ranger didn't know what to do with her pet cat...

Ranger loves watching were we're going...he always needed a view out the front window!
Evan's family lives in Texas, with a lake in their back yard with some pretty giant fish for the catching!

A revisit to our old stomping ground in Prescott, Airzona

After seeing our families on our epic road trip, we flew to Seattle to spend a day before catching the 14-hour plane to Korea.

After exploring Pikes Place, we hopped on a ferris wheel to catch some gorgeous views of the city and bay!

The photos dont do the mountains justice. Absolutely gorgeous!

After over 24 hours of traveling, seeing Seoul become closer to our airplane was a beautiful and welcome sight...and the beginning of a year of adventure!

The Seester Graduated!

Congratulations to my brilliant, feisty, kind, and all around amazing little sister on graduating from one of the best universities in California!

She graduated from the Animal Science program with a minor in Agriculture Business...and she's already a bigger badass than me because her classes involved sticking her arm up a horse's butt, dissecting animal testicles, and other medical-type things that give me the heebee jeebies.

She's come a long way from ten years ago when a horse bit her on the finger and she basically passed out while I washed the blood off, waiting for mom to come pick us up. She's going to do amazing things!

The whole family! Gramps, Aunt D, Granny, Uncle K, Mom, Meg, Dad, cousins Olivia and Jeff, and me! It was a full house.

The two that started it all!

Love it when the band is back together...

Christmas in CA :: Mud Bath!

Family mud bath excursion! This company has natural mud that apparently has soothing and toxin-destroying properties. Smelled a bit like sulfur, but overall a nice relaxing experience. After 20 min in the mud, we shower off and get in a jacuzzi for further relaxation.

Afterwards, we walked around Calistoga and had an amazing lunch at Hydro--something. We went all out with the food. Calamari, burgers, mixed drinks, Italian fries, mmmm....

And the views in this part of the state are stunning.

Christmas in CA - Dec 25!

Merry Christmas from the family!!!

Kenny, Meg, Mom, Granny, Dad, Me, Evan, and Gramps!

Holidays are great in this family because its a time we all get together, get drunk, and act ridiculous. And this year was no different! As you can see, my uncle and mom found great entertainment in...water bottle tossing. With Kara somehow in the middle.

I love these photos of mom and Ella by the tree.

I'd say Christmas 2016 was a success
